The Issues
Underlying all these priorities is my commitment to bringing more transparency to city government. Residents deserve to know how their tax dollars are spent and to have meaningful input on decisions that affect their daily lives. I will work to improve communication between city leadership and residents, ensuring that your voices are heard and your concerns are addressed.

Property Taxes
I am committed to giving Suwanee residents a voice in property tax relief by ensuring citizens have the opportunity to vote on a homestead exemption. With rising home values putting pressure on family budgets, it's time to let residents decide how to best protect homeowners while maintaining the quality services our community expects.

Future Growth & Development
As our city continues to grow, I will advocate for comprehensive traffic impact studies before approving any new development projects. We must understand how each addition affects our roads, schools, and quality of life before moving forward. Additionally, I'm committed to ensuring SPLOST funds are invested wisely in infrastructure projects that reflect our residents' priorities. This means more transparent decision-making processes that actively seek and consider citizen input before major commitments are made.

Safety
Our families chose Suwanee because it's a safe place to call home, and I will work tirelessly to keep it that way. This means providing our police force with the resources, training, and support they need to protect our community effectively. I believe in proactive public safety measures and will advocate for adequate funding to ensure our officers can continue reducing crime and maintaining the peace of mind that makes Suwanee special.
Experience
My career
After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Georgia, I built a successful career in marketing, working with leading technology companies including Symantec, MongoDB, and Forescout Technologies. Today, I serve as Director of Brand & Growth at Lokalise, an international SaaS company, where I lead a team of talented marketing professionals.

This corporate experience has given me invaluable skills directly applicable to city governance: strategic planning, budget management, stakeholder communication, and leading diverse teams toward common goals. I've learned to navigate complex organizational structures, build consensus among different perspectives, and deliver results under pressure—all essential qualities for effective city council leadership.

Additionally, my husband and I own and operate Roofserv, our local roofing company, which has deepened my understanding of the challenges facing small businesses in our community. I have also gained invaluable leadership experience from leading and growing our team of over 100 employees. From navigating local regulations to understanding the real impact of city policies on job creation and economic growth, I bring both the strategic mindset of corporate leadership and the practical experience of local business ownership to the council table.

This unique combination of experiences—from international corporate strategy to local small business operations—positions me to understand the full spectrum of issues facing Suwanee residents and businesses alike.
My passions
My commitment to service extends far beyond Suwanee's borders, but it always brings me back to our community with a deeper appreciation for what we have and a stronger drive to make it even better.

For the past 2.5 years, I've served as a youth group leader at Gwinnett Church, where I've had the privilege of mentoring and guiding the next generation. Working with young people has reinforced my belief in the importance of creating opportunities for youth engagement and ensuring our city planning considers their needs and perspectives.

I'm also passionate about supporting survivors of human trafficking and have volunteered with several organizations dedicated to helping these women heal and rebuild their lives. This work has taught me the critical importance of community safety, support systems, and creating environments where all residents can thrive.

My service has taken me internationally as well, with mission trips to Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, where I've helped build critical infastructure, conduct vacation Bible schools, support orphanages, and even lay the foundation for local industry. These experiences have shown me the power of community investment and grassroots development—lessons I'm eager to apply right here in Suwanee.

Whether I'm mentoring teenagers, supporting trafficking survivors, or building infrastructure abroad, the common thread is my commitment to lifting others up and creating stronger communities. This same heart for service drives my desire to serve on city council, where I can channel this passion directly into making Suwanee an even better place to live, work, and raise families.
